Welcome to Cruzin Kennels located in Northern New Jersey. We own, field trial and breed German Shorthaired Pointers for Field Trials, hunting and family companions. Our foundation dogs come from Helmut Schoen of Alpenblick Kennels in Pennsylvania, with a high concentration of KJ’s Hightailing Saddle and Alpenblick dogs in the pedigrees. We compete in AKC horseback/walking field trials and NGSPA/American Field Championships.
Our dogs are started by myself and introduced to birds, gun and water. Afterwards, they are sent to Pro Trainer/Handler Matt Basilone at Sunrise Kennels in Pittsgrove, New Jersey. Once in Matt’s hands he will work on the breaking process (steady to wing and shot), get them in tip top shape and apply finishing touches. Matt will bring out the full potential in the dogs.
